Chris Kendall
Chris has lived in Coolum all his life so naturally loves all things to do with the beach and the water, and now runs the Coolum Surfing School. As Chris says:
"There’s nothing better than living at the beach and to be able to work there as well. Teaching people how the ocean works instills confidence and opens people’s minds to the wonders of nature."

Summer is here!

The water temps just keep rising with the number of swimmers, surfers and the general beach population as things start to heat up around this beautiful coastline.
Coolum and many of the coast beaches are now patrolled on weekends and public holidays by the members of their local Surf Life Saving Club.…

Winter nearly over bring on Summer time!!!
We are so lucky to have winter conditions that when cold we can just find a sunny spot out of the wind and bake. Not having to wear steamer boots and/or gloves to enjoy a surf is always a plus, let alone not having to worry about enduring hail or snow storms. Who wants to surf in that?

Forecast: Perfect Conditions
As winter start to chill freeze most of us Coolum has come alive with glorious days and evenings, from spectacular sun rises over the vast ocean stretch or catching the magical colour of dusk sunset.
